5
- 5GEMF
- 5G is the fifth generation of cellular network technology, defined by the 3GPP under the New Radio (NR) standard. It operates across two frequency ranges: sub-6 GHz (FR1) and millimeter wave (FR2, 24–100 GHz). Data rates are faster and latency is lower than with 4G/LTE. Because it uses higher frequencies and a denser network of smaller antennas, 5G has sharpened public discussion about ambient electromagnetic field (EMF) exposure in homes and cities.
C
- Crystal coreTech
- The crystal core is the central element of every Somavedic device. According to Somavedic, it is made of precisely faceted crystals set in a specific geometric system, combined with zirconia, precious metals (such as gold, palladium, silver, and copper), and electronic components including a Tesla coil. When powered, this core is described as generating Somavedic's harmonizing frequency field, with the exact composition varying between models.
- Coherent fieldTech
- Coherent field is Somavedic's term for the organized environment a powered device is intended to create around itself. It is part of the company's explanatory model, not proof of signal blocking, reduced exposure, or a fully established physical mechanism.
E
- EMF (Electromagnetic Field)EMF
- An electromagnetic field (EMF) is an area of energy that surrounds any electrically charged or wireless device. EMFs span a wide spectrum, from extremely low-frequency fields around power lines and appliances to radiofrequency fields from Wi-Fi, mobile networks, and 5G. They are classified as non-ionizing radiation because they carry too little energy per photon to directly break chemical bonds, and the WHO describes them as one of the most common and fastest-growing environmental influences.
- ElectrosmogEMF
- Electrosmog (electromagnetic smog) is the ubiquitous presence of human-made electric, magnetic, and electromagnetic fields in the environment, named by analogy to air pollution. It is generated by power lines, electrical wiring, household appliances, Wi-Fi routers, mobile phones, cell towers, and broadcast antennas. The German Federal Office for Radiation Protection (BfS) uses the term to describe how these fields now fill modern living spaces the way smog once filled industrial air.
F
- Frequency fieldTech
- Frequency field is Somavedic's term for the intended area around a powered device. Model reach is placement guidance, not a measurement of blocked signals, lower exposure, or a guaranteed effect through walls and floors.
- Free radicalsScience
- Free radicals are unstable molecules or atoms that carry one or more unpaired electrons, making them highly reactive. The most common in biology are reactive oxygen species (ROS), produced as normal byproducts of metabolism, especially in the mitochondria, and in greater numbers under environmental stress. In excess they damage lipids, proteins, and DNA, which is the root mechanism of oxidative stress.
G
- Geopathogenic zonesEMF
- Geopathogenic zones are a concept from geobiology and dowsing traditions. Practitioners use the term for places where underground water, faults, minerals, construction, or proposed earth-radiation grids are believed to affect a space. Mainstream science and medicine do not recognize the concept as a measured harmful exposure or diagnosis.
H
- HRV (Heart Rate Variability)Science
- Heart-rate variability (HRV) is the natural variation in time between heartbeats. It is used as one indicator of autonomic activity and recovery, but a single value is not a diagnosis. Age, fitness, health, sleep, stress, medication, measurement method, and time of day can all affect it.
- Hexagonal waterWater
- Hexagonal water is a term used in some structured-water literature for a proposed six-sided molecular arrangement. The reviewed Somavedic frozen-drop sheet is illustrative and does not establish that arrangement, natural-spring equivalence, better absorption, or a health effect.
- Hartmann gridEMF
- The Hartmann grid (or Hartmann net) is a theoretical grid of 'earth radiation' lines described by German physician Dr. Ernst Hartmann in the 1960s. The lines are said to rise vertically from the ground and run north–south and east–west, spaced roughly 2 meters (6 ft) apart in one direction and 3 meters (10 ft) in the other. Where lines intersect, and especially where they coincide with underground water, the environment is considered particularly stressful. The grid belongs to geobiology and is not recognized by mainstream science.
N
- Negative ionsScience
- Negative air ions are molecules in the air that have gained an electron and carry a negative electrical charge. They occur naturally and can be measured in outdoor and indoor air. In wellness marketing, 'energy' is often used loosely; here it names a measurable electrical charge in air.
O
- Oxidative stressScience
- Oxidative stress is an imbalance between reactive oxygen species and antioxidant defenses. It is a standard biological concept affected by many factors. The reviewed Somavedic cell study does not establish reduced oxidative stress, inflammation, immunity, or recovery in people.
P
- Passive resonatorTech
- Passive resonator is Somavedic's term for how a powered device is intended to interact with its surroundings without broadcasting a communication signal. The device still requires power. The term does not establish a measured health effect or a complete physical mechanism.
S
- Structured waterWater
- Structured water is Somavedic's term for water placed near a compatible powered model for about 15–20 minutes. Some customers describe a smoother or fresher taste. The reviewed materials do not establish a specific molecular arrangement, improved absorption, or a health effect, and Somavedic does not filter or purify water.
T
- Tesla coilTech
- In Somavedic's design, the Tesla coil is a specialized electrical component built into the device's crystal core. Somavedic describes it as working alongside the faceted crystals and precious metals to maintain the vibrational stability and coherence of the frequency field.
V
- VGCC (Voltage-Gated Calcium Channel)Science
- Voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs) are proteins in cell membranes that open in response to voltage changes and allow calcium ions into a cell. Some researchers have proposed VGCC activation as one possible pathway for effects from non-ionizing EMF, but it remains a proposed mechanism and the reviewed Somavedic studies do not test it.
W
- Water structuringWater
- Water structuring is Somavedic's name for placing safe drinking water near a compatible powered model for about 15–20 minutes. Vedic gen. 2, Amber, Elaura, and Gold include the feature. Somavedic does not filter or purify water.
