What should I check before travelling with the adapter?

Check the plug type at your destination, your equipment’s input voltage and its load. The adapter accepts earthed and unearthed two- and three-pole plugs. Its stated input range is 100–250 V, with a maximum load of 6.3 A.

Does the adapter convert voltage?

No. It adapts the plug connection, so the connected equipment must already support the local mains voltage. Check the rating on your power supply before connecting it.
